Whether you're a PC or a Mac, you have to admire the contribution Steve jobs has done for the computer world.

A great innovator and visionary, Steve always had his finger on the heartbeat of the industry.

Goodbye Steve, Rest in Peace

I just heard about this...really unbelievable. :(

He must have really stuck it out to the end...it wasn't very long ago he left Apple.

R.I.P. Mr Jobs.

When he left Apple and appointed a new CEO or COO or whatever it was due to undisclosed health issues I never expected that a short time later he would no longer be with us, I may not be an Apple fan as so many are but I cannot deny his genius and major influences in the electronics field. A man of great accomplishment, a legend even, certainly one that will be missed. The above may sound a bit corny but without the revolutionary contributions this man has made who knows where we would be, or better yet, not be.

It is sad to see him go and I do wish his spirit/soul all the best in the future. I will also say that I am amazed by his marketing skills. I can not think of a single thing he actually invented or even innovated.
Steve Jobs was a marketing genius, he took what he liked from other comapnies (most often without giving credit to them) combined those technologies in ways that others were already working tword, sometimes he got these products to market first; either way he then made his version of the technology appear cooler and and more popular than anyone elses version of the technology. I don't have nor want any fantasies about who he was, nor do I wish is future lives (if any, depending on your/his beliefs) any ill.

I don't think anything I have said above is an insult to him, rather it's all a complament in that he actually got away with it.

Why is this still pinned? Isn't two years long enough?
