With all this buzz about green this and green that, we now are moving rapidly toward electric cars.
These will need charging, and the people who buy them will need to charge them over night. And maybe even at work, the mall, food store, and other places.
The city I live in in now installing charging station throughout the downtown parking lots, for free along with free electricity to charge them with.
Here is my question.
We all know what thieves will do to get the copper or aluminum for scrap metal for another fix of their favorite addiction, right, we all watch the news and hear the stories.
They will, in fact, remove the siding from a home to get the wire, pull it out of conduits on highway street lights, even risk their lives and many have died trying to steel the wire from high voltage transmission stations.

What will stop them from steeling the wire from the charging stations rendering the useless?
Heck, we cant even have public phones anymore for people vandalizing them and steeling the wire. That and they are not needed anymore.

Government.. Is bunch of BS'es. They can't change their mind. Yes? NO? I think the government is full of ****. They banned the first electric car back in the 90's(EV-1), and now they want it back after they **** up the O-zone. The State of California play a big part of it too. The California Air Research Board aka CARB, rule out that these electric to be ban and wipe it out of the earth. If they would of kept those electric vehicles, we be living in a better and cleaner environment. You guys seen the documentary movie called "Who Kill The Electric Car?"..

Documentary of Who kill the electric car (Youtube)

The cold fusion thing is very cool.
I would like to see a time when we could have mini power plants in our homes and vehicles. No need for power plants, electric lines or bought oil from others.
